Archaeological Museum in Corfu

The archaeological museum has a collection of archaeological finds from all over the island.

The Archaeological Museum of Corfu, which opened its first exhibition in 2018, houses antiquities from the ancient city of Corfu and the rest of the island. The exhibition of 1600 exhibits tells about the rich history of the island from prehistoric times to late antiquity.

Of greatest value is the stone pediment from the ancient temple of Artemis - one of the largest and best preserved stone pediments in Greece - depicting the Gorgon Medusa and her sons.

Opening hours: 8.30 - 15.00 (except Mondays). Address: Vrail street, house 5.
