Perama is a small village by the sea, 9 km from Corfu town and 3 km from the tourist area of Benitses.
The Perama area is surrounded by green hills descending to picturesque bays with stunning views of Mouse Island and the mountains of mainland Greece. The city is 10 minutes by car, a bus runs every 20 minutes. Most of the sand and pebble beaches of Perama are equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas but you can find absolutely secluded places.
Perama has several bars, taverns and mini markets. In Perama there is a "strawberry house" from the famous books of Gerald Darrell, a 10-minute drive from the famous Achilleion Palace and the village of Benitses.
